The Wellness Tribe
We had a vision. A vision where wellness, fitness, and nutrition all met under one program to teach what health and wellness really is. When you think of the word “healthy” or "wellness" what comes to mind? Is it a certain body type? Is it a certain athletic ability? What does it mean?
I don’t think that there is one perfect answer here but I would say that, being “healthy” is being balanced. Being in balance with your food and nutrients, your physical activity, your spiritual/mental health, your home life, your work life etc.
Imagine a program that brought all of these aspects together to teach and educate how you can become more balanced? This is exactly why Sarah and I created The Wellness Tribe.
The Wellness Tribe is an 8 week program that combines fitness, holistic nutrition, and behavioral changes to create habits that support your lifestyle and your wellness journey.
Each week we have a group coaching call to discuss a new topic of holistic nutrition, fitness, health, and wellness. The topics build upon the previous weeks so that you are able to continue to learn and build sustainable habits.
We understand that having a support system is critical when you’re trying to build new habits. That is one part of what makes this program so unique. You have a team behind you that has your back. Not only will you have support from Sarah and I as your coaches, you will also have a support system from your peers in the group! In addition to our weekly group meetings, we have a private facebook page just for members of The Wellness Tribe to be able to connect, ask questions, and to reach out for help if you need it.
Weekly workouts are also incorporated into The Wellness Tribe Program. Movement can help our bodies feel great both mentally and physically. Each week you will have 2 strength workouts, 1 conditioning workout, and 1 mobility workout! These workouts are programmed for you in an app called TrueCoach that has video demonstrations for each exercise with written descriptions. The workouts can be done on your own time/schedule to fit into your weekly routine. You will have accountability for these workouts because we can see when you’ve completed them and you have the ability to ask questions about any movements, modifications, and technique!
Ok, I’m Interested. What Do I Get in The Wellness Tribe Program?
8 Week program beginning October 10th – December 7th 2021.
30-45 minute workouts: 2 strength workouts, 1 conditioning workout, and 1 mobility workout.
Choose from two different programs that are designed to allow you to sustainably build strength: a bodyweight only program or an equipment program (dumbbells, kettlebells, bands etc.) that can be done at home or in a gym setting.
Workouts delivered via private app in TrueCoach with video demos for each exercise and written descriptions.
Weekly 30 minute accountability meeting via Zoom every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm. If you are unable to attend a meeting just let us know and we will email you a recording of our meeting so you don’t have to miss a beat!
Weekly emails delivered every Sunday with your nutrition topic, applicable handouts, assignments for the week and more!
Learn how to enjoy social gatherings (like holidays, birthday parties, bbq’s etc.) while still working towards your nutrition and fitness goals.
A private online community of support, working towards a similar goal.
Additional resources for continuing your education such as articles, recipes and more!
A foundation for creating sustainable healthy habits and lasting lifestyle changes.

This Program is NOT:
We believe is full transparency and we want to make sure everyone is clear on what they can expect from our program. We will not be providing or doing the following:
This is NOT a diet plan: no macro-coaching, meal plans, calorie counting, or detox teas.
You will NOT be doing endless amounts of cardio or bootcamp style workouts.
You will NOT be doing guilt workouts as punishment for eating.
This is NOT a weight-loss focused program; while weight loss may or may not happen because of your new habits, the focus of this group is to establish a healthy relationship with food, fitness, and your overall wellness.
This is NOT a “quick fix” 30 day program, we will be working on building long-term sustainable habits.

FAQ
I have special dietary needs? Can I still participate?
Yes! We will not be giving you meal plans or specific foods that you must eat. This means that this program is suitable for all dietary preferences (plant based, vegan, meat eaters etc.) and needs (allergies, intolerances etc.).
How much does it cost?
We offer two different flexible payment options.
Option 1: Split your payment into two payments of $175 each
Option 2: Pay in full and receive a $20 discount!
I am worried that the workouts will be too intense? What can I expect?
Don’t be worried! These workouts are designed so that they are scaleable to everyones abilities. We want you to feel strong and empowered after your workouts, not discouraged and fatigued. You can expect to learn how to enjoy strength training and learn how your workouts can make you feel strong. Plus we promise you will never see a burpee. ever. in any program from us. We are team no burpees.
I like to run and do other workouts too. Can I do other activities that I enjoy while doing this program?
Absolutely! That is part of the reason why we structured this program with 3-4 days of movement. If you wish or want to add in more movements that you enjoy you can! At the same time, someone with busy schedule or is new too exercise might think that 3-4 days is plenty. We are all about making choices that feel best for you and your needs.
